Relatively unknown, but brilliant in it's depiction of the end of innosence in society. It shows no matter how young you are, you are not pure. The brilliant Miss. De Havilland plays the "lady", a wealthy woman trapped in an elevator after a powerfailure.
I think it symbolizes that she is caged like the animal she is...like they all are...
