Review of Ladies They Talk About (1933) by Private U — 06 Dec 2007
It's your standard women's-prison-exploitation film, but Stanwyck ups the quality a bit overall. The women's prison in San Quentin seems more like a camp than anything else, but the inmates are interesting, to say the least.
Stanwyck's romance with Foster feels about as believable. It's fun but silly and superfluous.
