Review of La La Land (2016) by Matthew J — 22 Jul 2017
Possibly one of the greatest musicals ever made. This is, in my opinion, the best musical put on the screen since Chicago in 2002. It is not a traditional musical and it takes many risks, however, it effortlessly succeeds with every unique turn it takes.
The actors are convincing, the music is beautiful, and the film itself is art at its finest.
