Review of La La Land (2016) by Dario R — 26 May 2017

?????????? - I may have jumped the gun when I said Hacksaw Ridge (awesome film btw) should of won for Best Picture. Though Moonlight is a good film too, with a valid message I didn't find it as visually stunning, or as entertaining as La La Land.

This film is just beautiful; a celebration of old Hollywood and everything LA. The music, the performances (especially Emma Stone), everything about this film was just so good!

I went into this film expecting to not like it, but I can honestly say I LOVED IT! Was able to find a steelbook blu ray at a Arlington Heights Best Buy...a little out of the way for me, but worth it.

I think Warren Beatty had it right he mistakenly announced La La Land the winner.
