Astonishing movie. The story is original and so well-written, the characters are all captivating and and fun to watch in different ways, the direction is beautiful, truly capturing the dark essence on the beautiful background of Los Angeles during the 50s, and the performances are all perfect, each one doing well go make us feel for the characters, especially Crowe and Pearce in their breakout roles.
