Review of Kissing on the Mouth (2005) by Aimee C — 08 Jul 2008
This film wasn't incredible by all means, but I didn't feel it was a total waste of my time. It was supposedly about sex life and relationships post college, only I am not very far out of the post college life myself, and neither are my friends and I can honestly say that I had a hard time "relating" to any portion of this film.
I don't think any of my friends could relate either. This seemed more closely related to a recently out of high school demographic rather than post college. The characters were fairly annoying, the storyline was lifeless, and the "sex scenes" seemed completely gratuitous.
They didn't benefit the story, and they didn't really seem to fit in. The voiceovers of "post college student stories" was disjointed from the actors and their story within the film.
