Review of King Ralph (1991) by Stuart K — 02 May 2013
Another early 90's harmless comedy. Basically a bad photo shoot kills off an entire Royal family, and thus Goodman is the only rightful heir to the thrown.
Of course he isn't worthy to royalty, so hi jinks ensue.
Goodman is a very likable guy, so no issues with him and his antics aren't overly crazy, the people he is surrounded with are more snobby is all.
Hurt, like always, plays a massive douche. Can he play anything else?
I did like what they did with Joely Richardson, and it was kind of sad to see Richard Griffiths in a nice supporting role, as he just passed a few days ago.
I loved the Burger King scene...first thing I would hit too if I was being kept out of public!!!
