Review of Killing Them Softly (2012) by Jeff B — 11 Jul 2013

I'm not sure why this movie is so heavily criticized. However there are some easy answers I would like to point out; 1. This is not a mobster movie it's a veiled social commentary about the decline of the United States under limp-wristed politics 2.

It is not a action thriller, it's not centered around death, it's centered around Money and specifically the American economy in the last decade or so. I just thought somebody should bring up that all radio, tv, and printed ads/broadcasts in this movie were literally spelling out the message of the movie and each actors role/feelings/motivations throughout the movie.

This has got to make top 5 of my favorite movies from 2010 - Today.
