Review of Killer Elite (2011) by Luca T — 04 Mar 2012
A fine remake of the 1970's Sam Peckinpah thriller. The graphic violence is more up to date in terms of the more modern weaponry. The fast-paced camera-work would have made good ole Sam proud. De Niro is only in the film for a short time but Jasaon Stratham plays the lead role with aplomb.
Clive Owen is particularly good as a former C.I.A agent, sporting a tache, who makes it his business to make life as hard as possible for his adversaries.
