My favorite movie. A very realistic and sensitive story that captivates you by its honesty view about life. Masanobu Ando and Ken Kaneko are amazing as the two friends Shinji and Masaru, and so are the supporting actors in their roles.
Joe Hisaishi's soundtrack is like the movie in notes, it just fits so well! Takeshi Kitano is brilliant!
