Review of Kidnapped (2010) by Josh A — 31 Dec 2011
Rather than being gritty and suspenseful, it chooses to just make a gigantic mess both figuratively and literally. The big shifts in pacing, lame over-stylized cinematography, and over-acting all detract from the movie, and Vivas actually seems to be attempting to go for some deeper meaning here, which is laughable.
The sheer extremity of the final 30 minutes is really the only point.
