Review of Kevin Hart: What Now? (2016) by Greg B — 18 Nov 2016
"Kevin Hart : What Now" finds our beloved comedian facing a sell out crowd in Philadelphia. He enters a high stakes poker match before his routine only to cross paths with a Russian monster. With the help of Halle Berry, Hart makes a narrow escape and makes it to his show right on time.
Hart is a very relevant comedian. His anecdotes are real and he doesn't try to force the humor. I enjoyed his Schtick and his various ramblings about women and minorities. Hart even said a raccoon grabbed its d&&k and disappeared into the dark.
For a movie about a comic routine, this film does a marvelous job being captivating and resonant. Not all of Harts films are winners but I enjoyed seeing him let loose in this one --------------------------------------------------------- B.
