Review of Justice League: The New Frontier (2008) by Zaigham Z — 28 Feb 2011
Best of the popular animated JLA adventures has plenty of high-octane action for the youngsters, but also makes the bold choice of setting its story in the height of the cold war, adding an intriguing dimension for the target audience's dads.
Most of the DC cartoons take place in either a high-tech sci-fi future or an anachronistic film noir throw-back, while this entry takes place in an actual historical period, President Kennedy's lost New Frontier.
Great retro-style animation, design and music.
