Clearly a lot have changed since the well known and greatly appreciated JL series (2002-2006). Those were a delight. This however....well it cuts pretty close. Somebody somewhere decided the series were rather violent so the characters look different (not so.

..serious), but still fight the same. And since universe is the limit in animated movies and series, especially DC or Marvel, the ideas are unlimited. I loved this movie, been wanting to see more JL and since the series directors have made various movies to.

..either remember you of the good old days or entice you into watching or re-watching the whole story, plot and amazingly connected characters withing DC Universe. Enjoy!
