Maybe the premise is a little catchy, but what worked for me was that all foru main characters were so likeable, even "bad boy" Shane! Richard Harmon very much dominates the film. The main song "Crash" (with the "Listen Now" lyrics" is of the kind that usually gets into Oscar races (similar to "Let it Go" from "Frozen").

I saw this film the day after seeing "Tree of Life" in Minneapolis, so the sci-fi premise seemed continuous to me.
