Review of John Rabe (2009) by Kat V — 15 Jan 2012
Such a powerful story, told brilliantly by Gallenberger. Unbelievable to think that stories of courage and compassion like this are so often lost and forgotten. You think Schindler was a saint? Rabe was a miracle amidst an inferno, and he died without so much as a nod of appreciation from his own country.
Great movie, important truths...I'm glad that I had the opportunity to learn of it.
