Review of Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten (2007) by Jean S — 24 Nov 2007
It's GREAT - a very poignant look at Joe as a person as well as a member of the greatest rock 'n' roll band that ever lived. The music is still so vital and exciting. The movie exposes his sensitivity and his spiritual side.
Well, of course he was sensitive - how could you write those lyrics if you weren't? One weakness: Temple doesn't ID the characters he interviewed, though many will be recognizable to people who followed the band/scene.
