Review of Jodorowsky's Dune (2013) by Dewayne T — 02 May 2014
Outstanding and very engaging. This movie was like a journey through the roots of my favorite creations. From Moebeus, O'Bannon, Giger, Kurtz, and many other icons, the interweaving of thoughts, passions and the magic of creativity were masterfully captured in this fascinating documentary. Jodorowsky's energy and passion make him a shining enigma and hero. The movie leaves us with a clear sense of what his vision was even if reality could not have measured up to the scope of his mind and perhaps the adaptation of Dune is one that is best left to the world of dreams....
After all, "God created Arrakis to train the faithful.".
After.
