All right, we have to admit this version is rather cheesy and over the top at times... Sometimes the set and costumes are flat-out amusing... but still, there's a lot of talent in this cast... The beginning can be a little rough to get through, but when you look past its flaws -- it's powerful...

But I'd still rather listen to the '73 cast.
