JACK BROOKS was exactly what it wanted to be, a cheesy monster movie that kept me entertained. While the comedy could've been a lot sharper, I thought JACK BROOKS was highly enjoyable. Matthews does a great job, and although Brooks seems like an Ash ripoff, I dug his character more.
I loved the anger problem he had and the backstory was cool too. Simple, yet effective. The monsters were cheesy but awesome, nice gore, all and all a nice cheesy monster movie you'll enjoy.
