Don't listen to the negative user scores. I don't think these people fully grasp this film. It is not a horror film. It has horror elements but it's mostly a story about survival, and family. People want to deconstruct It Comes at Night but it works best as is, and what it really is is beautiful filmed high tension story-telling culminating in a traumatic climax.
Superbly acted and paced this is a MUST SEE for genre fans and film fans alike.
