If you love The Witch, you may very well like this movie. It immerse people in a dreadful and creepy sense that requires no jumpscares whatsoever. Actually it was mismarketed as a horror movie that u expect to have some monster or evil spirit lurking in the wood ready to rip people apart at night in it.
But it doesn't, the horror in this horror, which I would call a psychological thriller, is about good people being pushed to do horrible things to the others in the paranoia of not knowing whats going on.
In fact, we still dont know what truly happened after all, so its gonna be a hit or miss for the audiences. But it's still worth watching.
