Review of Isolation (2005) by Lupus D — 12 Aug 2007
This is a fun little film. It's about genetic manipulation of cows to "improve" their fertility, or how to make more money off the suffering of bovine... Anyway, the mutant cows are pretty grotesque, and the Irish accents are a nice touch.
It definitely was influenced by The Thing. It has the feel of older horror films; lots of drama, slow pacing, with a very good payoff.
