Review of Invincible (1992) by Stephen M — 21 Mar 2008
I'm not a football fan; so the historical relevance of this movie was lost on me. I like a good sports movie, though; especially if it is inspiring.
This movie, though, is really important to me. I saw it because I am a die hard Mark Wahlberg fan; and (in certain ways) INVINCIBLE changed my life. It is a movie that has given me hope and strength in dark times. I even have it in my Ipod to watch when I really need inspiration or guidance, fast.
It doesn't hurt that Greg Kinnear is another actor to whom I am devoted, as well as Paige Turco, who plays his wife.
And this is a true story! How fabulous is that?
