Review of Inkheart (2008) by André L — 03 May 2010

I give this a 8.5/10 and that is shockingly high for 1. a Brendan Fraser movie, and 2. a kids movie. I loved this for the simple reason that it's a solid story with some fantastic acting. Helen Mirrin is awesome, and Paul Bettany convincing in his role.

There are some parts where you're trying to make sense of it all, but that's ok because that's not what kids look for.

Find me strange for liking this and not other (perhaps better) kids movies, fine, but this stood out.
