Review of Indochine (1992) by Adam B — 20 Sep 2008
An extremely well-crafted film. Subtly explores some of the most prevalents issues in the world. We are invited to try and understand racism, classism, and forbidden love. The plot itself is enough to make this a must-see, but add perfect writing and superb acting and you're good to go.
The movie never judges its characters, but allows the viewer to do so for every character we meet. Great French film.
