Review of In Which We Serve (1942) by Private U — 04 Jul 2009
Noel Coward's film loosely based on Lord Mountbatten's exploits. Stars John Mills, Richard Attenbourgh and Coward. Its a good narrative following the exploits of a Royal Navy ship's company during WW2.
The clipped, very English tones of Coward and the politeness of the people reflect on a bygone age. Great War film.
