Review of In the Shadow of the Moon (2019) by Gregnator — 28 Sep 2019
In the shadow of the moon is a very interesting movie about a police officer encountering strange repeated events that he can not explain. And I wish I could say more without spoiling. It's a science fiction detective film, which blows the viewer away.
Unfortunately one of the major plot twists is predictable. Around halfway through the movie I had a theory and I was right about it. Even though the twist is kind of expected, the movie does make you question about right and wrong.
In the end I disagreed with the overall message, but I found it a great film that does make you think about it. I give it an 8 as it was a well directed solid movie, good acting all the way, but the predictable twist knocks the score from a 9 to an 8.
It's a good movie all in all. No sequels needed, no hints to sequels. Just a good solid movie, like they used to make them.
