Review of In Search of Fellini (2017) by Michael A — 25 Sep 2017

This story of a young girl and her journey of self-discovery is a pure 90-minute odyssey that left us speechless. One of the most beautifully shot films I've seen in a long time, "Fellini" touched our hearts and tugged at our souls. In true independent/art character, you have to be patient with the film early on and be willing to ride along a journey that leaves you guessing at which parts are reality and which are the main character's heart speaking to her. And, of course, the ending is as puzzling as it is satisfying. Perhaps most satisfying is knowing how many of the circumstances in the film actually happened!

But make no mistake, this real-life story has been waiting decades to be told...and was worth the wait. This is a truly artisanal-quality film that transported us away from our reality for a short time and took our breath away.
