Review of In Darkness (2011) by Mattias K — 19 Feb 2012
A polish holocaust story taking place in the sewers underneath the streets of Lwow, a former polish city that was occupied by the Nazis. A movie that more so than similar films like Schindler's List and The Pianist shows the selfishness of people in times of despair.
Yet still through the shady ethnic and moral decisions, the empathy of one man seems to prevail at his own risk. The movie is touching and wonderfully acted and shot.
