It was an enjoyable Spaghetti Western type movie. I have a problem with the casting of Ethan Hawke, he is no Clint.Eastwood. The movie works for me and it deserves better praise than it has received. Since it was rated R I expected more violence, I think that would have helped.
John Travolta was surprisingly good. If you like Spaghetti Western type movies you must give In A Valley Of Violence a viewing.
