Review of Ice Soldiers (2013) by Only T — 29 Dec 2018
Rather fun and not to be taken too seriously, this action-drama has beautiful cinematography, epic landscapes, and sets with surprisingly high quality of adherence to the important fine details. The prologue in 1962 was very well crafted giving a realistic feel for the period and what things looked like, how people acted, without the usual disparaging eye of modern political filtering.
The acting was excellent and the casting was spot on. This film was much better than I expected despite the cliche story concept.
