Review of I Think We're Alone Now (2018) by Elena H — 14 Sep 2018
Older cranky guy meets sweet young thing in post apocalyptic future where everybody is dead but a dog, an ant, and I guess freshly caught fish are still ok to eat. What is original about this movie? Not the characters as I've seen this trope a million times, or for that matter, the "we are the only survivors and are exact opposites" trope as well.
Other problems include the absence of any dead children, or families, or animals so apparently this town was only inhabited by single people of unknown gender, maybe they had a budget problem. It is hard for me to believe that one man took care of it all.
So many stereotypes, even the dead folks looked like bad Halloween props. One last point, it was tedious to watch and editing would have gone a long way to improve this. One even more last point, the music was so loud you couldn't hear the dialogue sometimes.
I gave it two stars only because I like the actors.
