Review of I Married a Monster from Outer Space (1958) by Geir F — 13 May 2008
What a surprise! This is actually a much better movie than the goofy title suggests. Basically, it's Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and a mostly good version at that! Some stiff acting (mainly the chief of police) and occasionally wonky effects keep it from a couple of rungs down the ladder from Siegel's masterpiece, but this is otherwise a fine piece of fifties scifi.
