Review of I Dream in Another Language (2017) by Gary B — 20 Jun 2017
I was lucky to catch this film at the Frameline Festival in San Francisco. Its beautiful cinematography and complex characters make the film relatable and engaging. The story of a dying language is the backdrop for an examination of regret and loneliness.
There's a lot of humor and magical realism that lightens the heavy topics of repressed desires and broken relationships.
