Review of I Am Big Bird: The Caroll Spinney Story (2015) by Calvin C — 05 Oct 2015

Growing up watching Sesame Street, I always thought Big Bird was an actual big bird. It is is nice to see the man literally inside the puppet. The documentary focuses on Spinney's start as a puppeteer and his life before and during his years on Sesame Street. There are interviews from old cast members and family and friends that give a good insight on Spinney and the show. It is short and sweet so if you are looking for any scandalous stories, there aren't any. This story is as innocent as Big Bird himself and that is not a bad thing.
