Review of I Am (2011) by Joshua I — 15 May 2011
After a near-death experience, one of Hollywood's most successful directors discovered his material success had made him miserable, so he sold most of his possessions and made this film about the purpose of life.
A must-see. Though at times cheesy and/or weird, it gets more right than it gets wrong, and in the end it's a beautiful film. I've never seen a single movie tackle such enormous subject matter with this much success.
