L'humanite is a beautiful, astonishing study of the human condition, a lament on innocence lost both to our hero and to our time. dumont is a master at revealing the marvellous in the mundane. as with la vie de jesus dumont uses untrained actors to stunning effect.
his best film to date. look out for flanders coming this summer.
