Review of Human Flow (2017) by Indiefilmlover — 21 Nov 2017
This timely documentary feels like it is ripped from today's headlines. It puts a human face on the worldwide refugee crisis. The director Ai Weiwei takes us on a journey to various parts of the world (mainly Europe and the Middle East) where we get to hear the moving stories of the refugees themselves.
A bit overlong at two hours and twenty minutes, the film is very compelling nonetheless.
