Review of Housebound (2000) by Ryan J — 21 Oct 2014
This little Kiwi gem sees Kylie, after years of delinquency, forced to move back in with her mother under house arrest. It's not her idea of a good time as she has been estranged for some time and now it seems that her mother believes the family home to be haunted.
This film is pretty damn fun. It's a mix of horror, comedy, mystery and thriller and it pulls them all off quite well actually. There's some good laughs to be had throughout, it is a typical Kiwi film and it's well worth the watch. I do not want to give too much away so just do yourself a favour and watch this film if you can get your hands on it.
