Review of House of Fury (2005) by Dean M — 29 Dec 2009

Nice entertaining film with some very nice and inventive fighting sequences. It had just the right amount of pathos and humour balance, the stuntwork and wirework sadly was very amateurish and risible, on the other hand the actors put a lot of effort into this film and it showed.

I was about to give this film seven out of ten, but alas I watched one of the trailers which showed "Chocolate" a movie which I have seen and the difference in quality of fighting was far far higher than on show with "House Of Fury"!!

So 6/10, good fo a Sunday afternoon when you do not want anything demanding :).
