Review of H.O.T.S. (1979) by Orlando D — 01 Sep 2011
H.O.T.S. is the story of rejected sorority sisters who make their own fraternity and get even with the snobbish P.I.E. sisters who rejected them in the first place, how? by stealing their boyfriends, natch. Plus the girls battle it out with a game of strip football(this should be applied to every campus across America.)With the success of "Animal House," sex comedies of the late 70's early 80's were at their peak(no pun intended.)H.O.T.S. is one of those examples. With horrible acting.
By Danny Bondacue and Playboy Playmates(Hugh Hefner was giving them away for all sex comedies.)and corny dialogue and musical score that's worth several giggles, H.O.T.S. is actually quite fun in an oh so bad its funny movie. It also takes you back to a time when you used to sneak after hours when parents were asleep to watch this one on cable late night. Hot pants, tight tops, and feathered hair-let the fun times begin!
