Review of Hôtel du Nord (1938) by Genevieve P — 30 Mar 2016
A very brave film with some challenging ideas, a great story but lacking depth sometimes. The acting is superb really given the era. It captures a lot of futility and the fragility of the human soul, in a way only the French can.
