Review of Hey Hey It's Esther Blueburger (2008) by Graham W — 08 Apr 2008
Normally, Australian film falls short of the mark, sometimes even nowhere close (see Gabriel). However, Esther Blueburger gives hope for Australia to poke its head into the American dominated cinema industry.
Esther Blueburger is first and foremost a drama rather than a comedy in which is surprisingly well done. Collette is on par as usually, but it is Cantanzariti and Castle-Hughes that take the cake.
