Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Kevin S — 09 Jun 2008
Simply astonishing. This was easily one of the most disturbingly repulsive serial killer movies that I have ever seen. It's a difficult watch with some of the most realistic violence ever portrayed on screen.
Nonetheless, the movie takes a lot of chances -ever seen a horror film in which the most empathic character is the killer, you will here. It ain't pretty but most of the best horror films aren't.
