Excellent period drama starring Fred Ward and Uma Thurman and directed by Phillip Kaufman.Visually superb and totally engaging it's also very sexy and feature a mind blowing performance from a young Thurman,how she wasn't nominated for an Oscar is beyond me!It's not a film for everybody but I loved it.
