Review of Heights (2005) by Cory C — 31 May 2007
The story of 'Heights' isn't one of breakthrough proportions, but the seamless ensemble performances and unique taste of direction help propell 'Heights' into an impressive production that's never dull, never slow.
It ends on a particularly sobering note, because after all, what's life without taking some risks? A life of forgotten passion. 'Heights' definitely sees its share of heights, with Glenn Close giving a brilliant performance, and a batch of new talent led by Elizabeth Banks.
We may have forgotten passion, but this film has not.
