Review of Heavy Metal in Baghdad (2007) by Wayman I — 11 Aug 2008
A film that should be seen by every person under 30 years of age in America. It puts faces to the hoards of people dying every day in Iraq. And then it goes deeper than that, exploring these individuals dreams, hopes, and fears.
But the most brutal and heart breaking realization one can possibly make from viewing the lives of Iraq's lone heavy metal band is that these people are exactly like US in nearly every way. Rock on, Acrassicauda!
