This is one of the most nauseating movies ever made. Nauseating, because of the sheer destruction of life humanity is capable of. Nauseating, because America's finest young men hold their bloodied, dying comrades in their arms, to what point? Nauseating because those on the home front hate these men.
Hamburger Hill reminds us all these things of the greatest tragedy in our country's history, things we too often forget.
