Review of Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) by Mitch G — 19 Aug 2011

I'm committing blasphemy, but Halloween III: Season Of The Witch is my favorite entry of this franchise. I'm sick and tired of hearing people bash this film solely because there is no Michael Myers and the creators wanted to go a different route (Face it, you knew Michael was dead at the end of the second film!).

This film is absolutely insane with its wacky premise, bizarre imagery, oddly good performances, and it also manages to be surprisingly creepy when it wants to be. I had nothing but fun watching this awesome sci-fi/horror/thriller because it was just so damn weird which made it so charming to me because I have an insatiable love of strange films.

Don't listen to the morons who bash this film solely because there is no Michael Myers, just take the film as it is and you'll have a great time watching it because there are no other horror films like it.
